I love grains...love being vegetarian/pescatarian!

Being vegetarian has taught me to be very creative in the kitchen and especially since the hubby isn’t vegetarian. We haven’t cook meat in our home for over 5 months. He’s a vegetarian at home lol. But once in a while we’ll have seafood and this happened to be one of those nights. So lets start with beverage, we had jamaican sorrel. For grain and veggies I had mango barley salad, tropical quinoa salad, sautéed kale with peppers and stuffed shell with broccoli. My hubby had all this topped with teriyaki tilapia…our dinner was amazing, hope yours was too.

2 of 5 day Internal Cleanse!!

Hello fellow bloggers,

So today was day 5 of my nine days internal colon cleanse and day 2 of not eating any food. Just drinking my toxin cleanser every 3 hours for 5 times for the next 3 days. Yesterday was o.k, had a few minor headaches here and there and my body was just pretty much trying to adjust to not being fed..Today I woke up a bit energized, but still just a tad bit sluggish. Through this whole process my ultimate goal is to draw closer to God and for my body to give him glory. One of my favorite songs right now is “Happy” by Tasha Cobbs.

This song has pretty much been my anthem all week and it lifts my spirit every single time I hear it. It goes a little something like this:

You make me happy
You make me whole
You take the pain away
I’m so in love with you

Everything about you is right
It covers all my wrong
YOUR LIFE SAVED MY LIFE. With you is where I belong

YOUR LIFE SAVED MY LIFE! Hope deep is that one line. Jesus came to give us life, and not just life….but his words says this, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly”. John 10:10

Don’t let unhealthy food, diet , habits destroy your purpose of having a long healthy and prosperous life that our King promised to us…don’t get caught up in wanting to go to heaven before your time, fulfill His promise here on earth first! So convicted of this here truth. Today I’ve chosen LIFE!

This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live- Deuteronomy 30:19

Today was another good day and I think I’m totally ready for tomorrow! The beginning of my five day intense liquid only fast! To God be the glory, great things is yet to come 😊. Today’s meal was a fruit salad for breakfast, a salad for lunch and tomato and basil soup for dinner. Now off to bed, a little exhausted after working out with my zumba. Night world.

First day of my internal cleanse using blessed herbs started TODAY!

So I’ve decided that before I started my new journey has a vegetarian that I would do an internal cleanse. After researching I decided to try Blessed Herbs internal cleanse, which I began today with the colon cleanse! So far, so good. Since I prepped my body two weeks in advance by my portion of food intake and control my various cravings. The first day has been really a piece of cake. Except for me trying to swallow two pills, which I never enjoyed doing…errrrrrr!
First day is mainly trying to reduce your appetite level and preparing for the 5 day liquid fast. Today I had an organic apple for breakfast. Porridge for lunch and a toss salad for dinner. Right before dinner I had to take the digestive stimulator(my number was two). Everyone has a different number calculation of how many pills to take. Then an hour before bed I have to take 1 packet of the toxin absorber. My intake of water was on point today. Definitely exceeded the suggested 6-8 glasses! Yea me.
In concluding today was a good day…already feeling so much in tune with the Holy Spirit. All glory be to God.

I easily release that which I no longer need. The past is over and I am free.- Louise Hay
